Professor Tetsuya Nagasaka was awarded the title of “Research Professor” on July 1, 2025, and the title award ceremony was held on August 4.
The Research Professor System supports professors who have achieved high research performance in their specialized fields and are expected to acquire a certain amount of external funding, or who are leaders of specific projects with a certain amount of funding, or who play a central role in specific projects.
Professors Teruo Miyazawa and Shigetoshi Sugawa are currently active as research professors at NICHe.
