We have issued letters of appointment to Atsuyoshi Koike (President of Rapidus Corporation) as a specially appointed professor (visiting) and a special advisor to NICHe.
Prior to the award ceremony, President Koike explained the management philosophy and strategy of Rapidus Corporation and introduced a case study of the successful prototyping of 2nm semiconductors, which was announced in a press release by Rapidus Corporation in July.
President Koike has been involved in semiconductor technology development for many years and has led the field as a business executive. We plan to leverage his knowledge and network to obtain advice from a high perspective on next-generation design, manufacturing, and production technology development.
