Graduate School of Agricultural Science and NICHe sign Cooperation Agreement with Yamagata Prefecture Food Industry Council on October 1.
The Graduate School of Agricultural Science and NICHe have been providing product development support based on intellectual property strategy and scientific evidence to meet the needs of local food companies for high-value-added product development. To this end, we established collaborative agreements with the Miyagi Prefecture Food Industry Council in March 2014 and the Fukushima Prefecture Food Industry Council in February 2018. (The intellectual property strategy was implemented with support from Tohoku Techno Arch Co., Ltd., the university’s technology transfer organization).
Recognizing that similar needs exist within the Yamagata Prefecture Food Industry Council, we plan to provide support for the development of high-value-added products through personnel exchanges, joint research, and collaborative projects.
Recognizing that similar needs exist within the Yamagata Prefecture Food Industry Council, we plan to provide support for the development of high-value-added products through personnel exchanges, joint research, and collaborative projects. Furthermore, this partnership agreement is expected to strengthen collaboration with the food industries of the three southern Tohoku prefectures, identify diverse industry needs, and accelerate the social implementation of research findings.
Through this partnership agreement, we will continue our efforts to contribute to the promotion of regional industries.
