Kenji Inaba et al. received the 2025 Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The Development Category of the Science and Technology Award is given to those who have made epoch-making research and development or inventions that have contributed to the development of Japan’s social economy and people’s lives and have been put to practical use.
Kenji Inaba et al. received the award for their work with Mazda Motor Corporation, Kogakuin University, and Hiroshima University on the “Development of Innovative Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Materials Using Model-Based Research Technology.
