Kenji Inaba (Research Fellow) et al. received the Technology Development Award at the 74th Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan Awards. (Miyazawa PJ)

The awards were established in 1951 with the goal of “encouraging the development engineering and automotive technology.” Since their inception, the awards have attracted attention as a representative mark of the automotive technology field and of the JSAE, with the winners taking on high regard for their achievements. The Technological Development Award is targeted for individuals who develop and/or co-develop new products or technologies that contribute to the advancement of automotive technology.

 

Research Fellow Inaba (then at Hiroshima University) received the award for “Development of Innovative Heat-Insulating and Sound-Insulating Porous Materials and Components Using Model-Based Research Technology” with researchers belong to Mazda Motor Corporation, Kogakuin University and Hiroshima University.
