Prof. Katsunori Nonogaki, who has been working on the Miyazawa Project, received the Invention Encouragement Prize in the Reiwa 5th Tohoku Regional Commendation for Invention.
Prof. Nonogaki received the Invention Encouragement Award for his invention of the ultrasound treatment system (Patent No. 6775222), together with Katsuhiro Maruta (Medical Development Department, Cosmos Web Inc.).
Prof. Nonogaki continues his research at the Cyclotron Radioisotope Center.
