Prof. Teruo Miyazawa received the President Recognition Award and Lifetime Achievement Recognition from the Federation of Asian Nutrition Societies (FANS).
FANS is comprised of food and nutrition related scientific societies from 18 Asian countries and is dedicated to education and information exchange on the science of food and nutrition for the health and longevity of the Asian people.
Prof. Miyazawa has served as FANS Director since 2007, FANS President since 2015, and FANS Executive Director since 2019, supporting and contributing to the recent development of FANS activities.
He has also provided many educations and lectures to FANS members in various countries on the topic of food and nutrition for a healthy society with longevity and longevity, backed by his longstanding research results.
This award is the result of these longstanding achievements of Professor Miyazawa.
