Prof. Kazue Kurihara received the Lifetime Achievement Award (LTAA) from the International Association of Colloid and Interface Scientists （IACIS）.
Prof. Kurihara received the award for his outstanding research on surface force measurement and his efforts in fostering young researchers over the years.
